Tips for using wax products

Some things about using wax seems obvious and then some may be surprising!

Selecting a scent

Follow us in Instagram (pure_roots_ascension) for our scent stories. You can search this site for specific scents using the search field. Our candles have a deep hot throw after you allow them to warm for about an hour. They burn for up to 45 hours.

Blowing out the candle

Avoid smothering burning candles as the cap can trap the smoke smell. Either blow out your candle or use a candle snuffer.

Burning candles

Always be present when burning any wax. Keep your candles free from debris and trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting. Burn candles for 4 hours max at a time. When you get to the bottom 1/2 in of wax in the candle, let the wax melt and then pour it into a tart container, then use the remaining wax in your tart warmer.

Recycle

Please reuse your candle container! If you purchased it at a retail location, you can return it there. Wax residue can be removed and discarded but avoid the sink, it will clog.

Never in my life did I think about making candles, rock climbing, meditating , becoming part of a tribe a family outside my own! I do know I've always had a desire to create a space in my life where I could reach out to others, empower inspire, coach, help heal. I stepped on the path to spiritual growth and met my soul sister the "she" to my nanigens. This company is a phenomenal way to create that powerful space -Janna

As I learn more about myself, I found out that I was a builder and this is one of the things I can build for the collective. On the path to enlightenment, my wish is to raise the collective consciousness so we all may rise together. -Myoshi

Purvana Candles was established by two single moms that have a passion for rock climbing and the esoteric . Climbing is a meditative sport which has reawakened the need to connect with the divine and practice mindfulness, stillness and to bring peace to our lives. We are sharing tools that can help you with your awakening.

The Process

We make one batch at a time! Candles and waxes are poured by hand. Waxes are cured for a minimum of two weeks before we make them available.

Crystals are charged on selenite for 24 hours before being added to the soft wax so that they may set properly.

Our designer has crafted lovely packaging so you can feel great about gifting these products to others.

All waxes are hand poured with your favorite scent in mind. We take feedback on what you would like more or less of and we will offer limited specials after we get rolling!

As single moms we understand the importance of a community with strong values, compassion, kindness and equity when it comes to raising children who will carry these characteristics to the next generation. Our big dream is to give back to our communities, to inspire and raise up those who struggle within them.

How will we do that? One candle at a time gets us closer to a company that provides job opportunities, trade skills, profit sharing, health benefits in an equitable, ethical and sustainable environment. A creative, caring, healing, nurturing, a resilient collective starts where we are, in our homes and in our communities with a simple spark of light!
